Since grade school, Dustin Deissner knew he was going to be a lawyer. Well, that's what his friends told him anyway. Though he couldn't see it then, practicing law was exactly what Dustin was destined to do with his life. Now, he's nearly 40 years in the game and has helped numerous people throughout northeast Washington with his services. Whether it's personal injury, social security disability, or filing chapter 7 bankruptcy, Dustin has the skills and passion to help his clients reclaim their peace of mind and regain hope in their future.
Dustin received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Gonzaga University in 1976 — and he was a smart kid, too. Dustin had the highest GPA of all students within his major and received the John Quincy Adams Oratory Award. After graduating, he had every intention of continuing his education in accounting until he took a short-term gig working at a personal injury law firm. The job changed the trajectory of his career and he fell in love with the idea of practicing law himself.
Instead of studying accounting, Dustin went on to Gonzaga School of Law and performed exceedingly well. He graduated in 1980 at the top of his class, second overall in fact. During his time in law school, Dustin was the associate editor of the university’s law review. He also won the Linden Cup, an oral appellate advocacy competition run by the student body.
People need help and I’m going to help them. I devote the same level of effort to every case no matter what. — Dustin Deissner, Attorney
